This week the team reviewed applications totaling $148,516 in asks with only $45,000 to disburse.  We were able to provide funding as follows:

• Evergreen High School Senate • for student-focused and student-driven activities that will cultivate a feeling of community amongst all students

​​

• Wilmot Elementary School • to improve efficient communication amongst staff in the event of an emergency, including equipping staff with two-way radios; providing continuity of care for students receiving SEL support and additional group SEL opportunities; and improving security infrastructure by covering windows with ballistic film

​​

• Evergreen Resiliency Center • to provide snacks for Evergreen High School and Evergreen Middle School students spending time at the center

​​

• Clear Creek High School and Middle School • for security equipment

 

• Hummingbird Club • to create a gathering space with healthy after-school activities and reduced-cost food for students from Evergreen Middle School throughout the school year and during the summer months

 

• Cornerstone Club • to provide leadership, character building, and support for 7th grade boys at this critical stage of their lives

We were able to defer some of the requests for consideration in upcoming months.
