The Evergreen Legacy Foundation makes small grants to area organizations for projects that improve the community in which we live.  As of July 2025, this process is still in its infancy with parameters being established as our budget allows. 

• Generally speaking, we make grants available only to 501(c)(3) organizations or cover costs directly on behalf of groups that do not have a 501(c)(3) designation.

• We do not sponsor events and do not provide scholarships to individuals.

• We review requests three times a year with dates provided in the Guidelines, which can be downloaded.

• We prefer to make challenge grants that will spur on other donations to kick-start a campaign.

• Our application process is simple.  If your organization meets the basic criteria, we will invite you to make a 15-minute presentation to our Board of Directors, as outlined in the Guidelines.
