Funding available for private & group counseling
Private counselors may apply for funds to cover sessions with those impacted by the September 10th event. Victims Assistance has approved a very generous amount per person with private counselors if that counselor has applied and been approved through their agency. Victims Assistance is fast-tracking the approval process to make funds available.
In addition, funding is now available for group therapy through Victims Assistance. This has not been available in the past.
#EvergreenStrong Community Recovery Fund
In response to the tragic shootings at Evergreen High School on September 10, 2025, the EHS PTSA has stepped forward to respond. While there are other funds out there, this is the only fund controlled locally. To ensure transparency and fiscal responsibility, they have partnered with the Evergreen Legacy Foundation.

The Evergreen Legacy Foundation has pledged the first $10,000 by opening the bank account.
